Get Bold In Asking God

1 Thessalonians 4:9-10
9 Now about brotherly love we do not need to write to you, for you yourselves have been taught by God to love each other.
10 And in fact, you do love all the brothers throughout Macedonia. Yet we urge you, brothers, to do so more and more.

We see that we must do more and more.

1 John 3:16-22
16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
17 If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him?
18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
19 This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence
20 whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
21 Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God
22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him.

The above passage says that when we do good to others and serve God's people, we gain confidence before God. When we ask God in confidence, we receive whatever we ask. How is your confidence before God? It is easy to regain the confidence. Help the sick, weak, poor and the needy. Use whatever talent God has given you to glorify God.

Romans 12:4-8
4 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function,
5 so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
6 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith.
7 If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach;
8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

According to the above passage, we all must use our gifts.

When you get confident and bold in your relationship with God, we will pray boldly and God answers us, because of our boldness (Luke 11:1-13). How are your prayers? Bold? If not bold, you can get bold. Serve God and his people
